About Our Cemetery
Situated in a now busy residential community in suburban Atlanta, the Haynes Creek Cemetery is a continual reminder of the interesting lives and faith of those who dwelt in Loganville before us. From the decorated memorials of men like John Rutledge, a Revolutionary War veteran, to the unmarked graves of Indians and slaves whose names have been forgotten, there are a thousand stories to be discovered and pondered among the hundreds of tombstones in this historic Georgia cemetery.
This website contains helpful information for those wanting to find a grave, purchasing a plot, or visiting the old graveyard; but if you have additional questions about Haynes Creek Cemetery, please feel free to contact us here.
About Our Church
Founded in 1826, the congregation of Haynes Creek Prmitive Baptist Church has gathered in this picturesque sanctuary to worship God and hear the Gospel of Jesus Christ for many generations. This same Primitive Baptist congregation continues to meet monthly for worship in the old sanctuary, but in 2021 the decision was made to deed the property to a congregation of the Presbyterian Church in America, now known simply as Haynes Creek Church (PCA).

Thus, as a cooperative effort between these two Christian congregations, a Gospel ministry to Loganville continues to be headquarted in the old building on Rosebud Road. Glory be to God! For more information on Haynes Creek Church (PCA), please visit their website here.
About Our Commitee
Since 1947, the Haynes Creek Cemetery has been managed by a committee of devoted volunteers, many of whom have loved ones buried in the old graveyard. For instance, committee member Adam Webb's descendents donated the original land for the cemetery sometime in the early 1800's. To see a list of our current committee members, click here.

The Cemetery Commitee is a non-profit organization whose continued work depends upon the support of families and friends who wish to see the cemetery continue to be maintained in good condition for years to come.
